High School Morning Session:

7:15 am - 11:11 am 

Wednesdays (1 Hour Early Release Days Only)
7:15 am - 10:34 am 

High School Afternoon Session:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
11:36 am - 3:32 pm 

Wednesdays (1 Hour Early Release Days Only)
11:35 am - 2:54 pm 

How Canyon Valley Sessions work compared to a traditional Gilbert Campus:
Each course is worth 1/2 of a credit - Students take up to 3 classes  per 9 week block  which can be up to 6 credits per year, but within our half day schedule, compared to a traditional campus full day. 
Students may have the option to go full day and gain missing credits, pending request and approval by administration. 
High School Core Class Offerings:
Canyon Valley School offers classes in the academic areas of English, Math, Science,
Social Studies, and Computers
Core Classes: 
English I, English II, English III,  and English IV 
Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II,  and Financial Applications for Life I 
Biology, Earth Science, and Ecology
World Studies, American History, Economics, and Government
21st Century Applications

High School Elective Class Offerings:
Elective Classes: 
Sociology, Leadership, Work Program, Peer Mentoring
Agriculture Science (can be CTE course)

*School to Work Program offered for elective credit*
Students can earn 1/2 of an elective credit for every 90 hours of documented work hours 
This is in a maximum of 3 credits (270 hours) per year
Pre-approved volunteer service hours may also be used to meet the work experience

Canyon Valley is open to all High School grade levels
Transportation is provided to students that are within the Gilbert Public Schools boundaries
